If endurance is a superpower, then Ser-Od Bat-Ochir of Mongolia is a caped crusader!  This guy is always there, at every major world marathon competition, without fail.  Silently present.  Constantly finishing.  Rarely rewarded.  For decades!  Endurance is more than half the battle on a long run and in life.  In Luke 21, Jesus  promises that if His followers endure, hang in there past all sorts of difficulty, He will be their Savior and they will (truly) gain their lives.  That inspires me to face struggles and know that on the other side is real life!  I think that’s why Ochir has showed up at every major world marathon for the last 21 years without missing a beat. His track record tells him he will finish.  His training tells him, nothing this race throws at him can crush him. We too, can toe the line of our day-to-day lives because the promise of Jesus stands the test of time and our endurance to keep racing, keep running, and keep fighting, will lead to a truer, fuller lion life, and ultimately,

we can count on His promise of eternal life too!
